Kharkiv Online JSC was founded in July 1997 as an open joint-stock company. Among the founders of Kharkiv Online there are Ukrainian and foreign enterprises, as well as the company's employees, who created the company and contribute to its development with their work.

The main activities of the JSC Kharkiv Online are focused on the development and maintenance of the north-eastern segment of the Ukrainian Research and Education Network (URAN), provision of Internet services, provision of training and retraining in information technology, software development and information content of the network.

Since September 1997 the company has been providing Internet and today it is one of the leading providers in the region. JSC Kharkiv Online specializes in connecting corporate clients for the needs of small companies and for home use with subsequent technical support and the provision of a full range of information services.

Realizing that today the Internet is not just an information system, but a powerful business management tool, we make every effort to ensure quality access and provide the user with comprehensive solutions based on Internet technologies, which can completely change the culture of doing business in real time.

In 1998 the Training Center for training and retraining of highly qualified specialists in the field of new information technologies was created in the JSC Kharkiv Online. The most popular are author's courses: "Programming in C and C++", "UNIX-systems administration", "Computer networks", "PC repair and maintenance" and many others. There are also courses for novice PC and Internet users. They have a whole package of courses and methodical developments plus a team of experienced trainers at their disposal. The Training Center is a participant of several international and state educational programs. To date it has trained, upgraded and retrained over three thousand people.
